Anshika believes in long term pain relief by finding the root cause and treating it through hands on approach, exercises, educating patients and various modalities.
She has a unique work experience throughout her career ranging from treating musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries such as tennis elbow, ACL and pre/post surgical hip/knee/shoulder replacements. Along with neurological conditions such as Stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s, MS. Anshika also treats cardiac conditions such as pre/post heart surgeries, heart failure and paediatrics population for CP, Autism, Down Syndrome and geriatric population for balance/falls and Alzheimer’s.
Her prime interest is in musculoskeletal conditions with an in dwelling interest in Women’s health. Her certifications include Maitland Manual therapy techniques, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization ( IASTM) and LSVT for Parkinson’s, Mulligan Mobilization techniques for UE. She is currently enrolled in Level 1 & Level 2 Concussion Rehabilitation Course March 2022 and Level 1 Pelvic health certification course.
She has completed a 4 ½ year Bachelor’s program in Physiotherapy from RGUHS, India and has received Scholarship to complete her Master’s degree in the US. After which she practiced as a licensed physiotherapist for 9 years in different States across the US. Her husband’s work brought her to Canada and now she is all set to make Canada her home and alleviate people’s pain through her skills and knowledge.
