SPORT STYLE MASSAGE Not an oil based spa massage Female patients: wear/bring sports bra
Xian is a registered massage therapist and a graduate of Mount Royal University. As a manual therapist, He is committed to helping clients manage pain, improve mobility, and recover from physical strain. Xian integrates a variety of non-traditional techniques such as RAPID NeuroFascial Reset, Graston Technique®, and Fascial Stretch Therapy™ to promote structural balance and optimize movement. He further enhanced his skills in myofascial release techniques by studying with Tom Myers, author of Anatomy Trains. Each session begins with a health history review and physical assessment to create a personalized treatment plan. Xian applies slow, sustained pressure, ranging from a few ounces to a few kilos, ensuring it aligns with your comfort and specific needs. He may ask for your active participation, such as moving or stretching, to assist in releasing fascial layers and improving the mind-muscle connection.
While most of the work is performed on the massage table, certain techniques may involve sitting, bending, standing, to achieve optimal results. Although linens are provided, clients are encouraged to wear gym-appropriate attire, such as shorts, a sports bra, or a loose t-shirt or tank top. Xian’s goal is to help you move freely, reduce pain, and restore lasting comfort and balance.
