Shiv is a graduate of Langara College’s Registered Massage Therapy Program. He has experience in working with a wide variety of individuals ranging from infants to adults and elderly who are affected by and recovering from injuries, movement, and systemic disorders.

Growing up in a small town up north called Mackenzie, Shiv had an interest in playing hockey and soccer. When he moved down to Vancouver he picked up competitive basketball and football. During his athletic career, he sustained multiple orthopedic injuries and experienced firsthand the benefits of massage therapy towards his recovery. This inspired him to become a massage therapist as he understands that massage therapy is an integral part of injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Shiv’s goal is to help his patients get back to doing what they love pain-free. He understands that no patient is the same thus he aims to achieve their goals by customizing each treatment plan to cater to individual needs. He incorporates a variety of modalities into his treatment ranging from trigger point release, active release techniques, PNF stretching, myofascial techniques, joint mobilizations, and Swedish massage.

In his spare time, you can find him up on the slopes snowboarding, at the court playing basketball, or enjoying a meal at the newest local eatery.
